Community Services Avenue

What is Community Service?

In Rotaract Club of the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC), this is the avenue where tasks are undertaken that would result in the upliftment of the outer community involved with the club. As the community service avenue of UCSC, our main goal is to live up to this definition and improve the standards of local communities by conducting sustainable projects.

Help towards the upliftment of community standards through sustainable initiatives.

What is our mission?

Serve the society to increase its standards in terms of education, environment, mental health, and equality by conducting sustainable projects. These projects would be completed within adequate time frames.

What are our key objectives?

• Serve the community by covering Rotary Seven Areas of Focus and enhance the image of the Rotaract Club of the University of Colombo School of Computing through sustainable service projects.
• Provide exposure to Rotaractors of UCSC to reach out to local communities that are in need.
• Help Rotaractors of UCSC realize that they can create a difference and provide them with the necessary guidance.
• Develop a community of caring and socially responsible Rotaractors through developing awareness and a better understanding of communities.
