Gamer's Heist

Club Services Avenue of Rotaract Club of University of Colombo which mainly focuses on strengthening fellowship among the members of the club took its first initiative to achieve the goal through developing the fun filled Game Night called "Gamer's Heist"

Gamer's Heist was a game night where each and every members were randomly assigned to different groups. There were many games that were played where the members have to take part groupwise. It was hel virtually via zoom on 31st of July 2022.

The Game night started commenced with the game "Lecturer Guessing". The task is to identify the lecturer where a piece of a photo of a lecturer is visible initially and gradually increasing the visibility of the photo which has to be identified within 30 seconds. If the team identifies they will be awarded with 10 points and if fails the chance will be transferred to other teams where if they answered they were awarded with 5 points.

Following the Lecturer Guessing Game, the famous Hangman Game was conducted. Here every group were assigned to different groups with a supervisor where the group members were requested to identify the correct word which was given with a clue. Identifying a correct letter would add up the letter to that word and misindentifying a letter would result in a penalty. The games went out smmoothly engaging each and every members effectively.

As the final game of the night was the Movie Guessing where the a picuture of particular instance of a movie is shown with a bakcground music. The teams has to guessed the movie and if guessed correctly they were awarded with points while failing to guess the movie made the chances for the other teams to guess the movie.

The Gamer's Heist was thoroughly enjoyed by the whole members where they had fun while giving the utmost effort to emerge as the winners of the night.

The strength behind this entertaining event without whom this would't be a sucess was the Organizing Committee which was lead by Rtr. Hashini Thilinika and Kavindya Nimeshi.
