International Relations Avenue

The International Relations avenue of the Rotaract club of University of Colombo School of Computing includes activities where members engage to encourage international understanding, service, collaboration, fellowship and peace by improving relationships with nationalities of various geographies, their cultures, customs, accomplishments, aspirations and problems, by understanding through cooperation in all club activities and projects.

The IR team looks forward to enhance our borders, open arms to collaborate and exchange cultures while involving in service towards creating a positive change in the communities beyond horizons.

Our Vision

To bridge the gap between international horizons which promotes inclusivity of all nations. We motivate individuals globally using International Service as a multifaceted experience to conduct projects on Community Service, Professional Development in coexistence along with an international basis.

Our Mission

Moving forward to facilitate our vision successfully, it is important to build meaningful international relationships gradually. In order to make this achievable, it is essential to inculcate cultural awareness amongst global Rotaractors.

We aim to reach out and bridge connections with other Rotaract Clubs outside Rotary International District 3220 and to inspire activities and projects that will maintain, strengthen the relationships and create an impact across borders. Further, we consider building mutual understanding and promoting cultural sensitivity amongst the members of the clubs involved, and also to lend a helping hand with sustainable initiatives that will collectively benefit all the parties involved and will contribute towards the promotion of goodwill among the communities. All in all, it is to Bridge, Aspire, Understand and Aid.
