Smart Corporate with Kumar de Silva

How can one augment their self- image, dress sense and personal style to international standards? How can they develop a higher level of self- confidence in themselves and improve present and future work situations? How can they present themselves more effectively in the corporate arena?
Personality Development & Corporate Etiquette Programme organized by the Professional Development Avenue of the Rotaract Club of UCSC with the collaboration of the Interact Clubs of Mahanama College and Asoka Vidyalaya provided answers for the above questions. The smart corporate programme was conducted on the 19th of November 2022 at UCSC premises strengthened by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) with the theme of

“Good manners will open doors that the best education cannot.”

Kumar de Silva who is a Personality Development and Corporate Etiquette Trainer with forty years of experience working and interacting, in different capacities, with hundreds of people from diverse organizations across different layers in Sri Lanka’s multi-disciplined corporate sector conducted the programme.

In the past few years, several thousand corporates, both young and old, have been through the different modules of his interactive Personality Development and Corporate Etiquette training sessions. There have also been several hundred school leavers and undergraduates from national and private universities, many of whom will constitute the corporates of tomorrow.

The programme successfully concluded with the participation of the Executive Committee Members and the Board of Directors of the Rotaract Club of UCSC and the Interact Clubs of Mahanama College and Asoka Vidyalaya. The participants were well aware about the importance of creating a positive impression, ability to stay ahead of the competition with a dynamic and up-to-date appearance and handling physical, non-physical connections in an effective way with gratitude to Mr. Kumar De Silva.
